The Open Research Scan Archive is stored on computers in the
Human
Brain Evolution Laboratory. The Lab has the following computing
resources:
Hardware:
3 linux workstations with 21” monitors, one with DVD-burner, one with
CD-burner
3 separate 120GB RAID arrays for data storage (each array accessible
from
each workstation)
1 Mac G5 with 8 GB RAM devoted to image processing projects
1 Mac G3 with CD-burner, zip-drive, and scanner
HP Laserprinter (networked)
Software:
Analyze Medical Imaging Software: 3D image-processing abilities
including: advanced segmentation, 3D rendering, stereology, navigation
and reslicing abililties. http://www.analyzedirect.com/
MRICRO: 3D rendering, functional (and other types of) overlays.

IDL: imaging software language. We have some useful tools which
have been created to aid in aspects of object identification (e.g., for
visually identifying sulci on brain images).
Full array of Linux and Mac office software (which read and write MS
